Carbon HELP!!

I bought a carbon fiber trunk and the resin is starting to yellow in some spots. Any tips on how to re-resin or what do i have to do to make it clear again. Or should i just paint it victory red and call it a day?

Paint it.

Carbon looks like crap on red in my opinion.

or do what the guy above said. Have it cleared but it doesnt always solve the yellowing. It will solve hazyness though

Yea if the resin is actually yellowing/hazing then there's nothing to b done to fix it, sanding it out and re clearing can help minimize tho. Best bet is preventative maintenance is have it clear coated when u get it.

well its already to far gone to prevent anymore, i think I'm just going to paint it the same colour as my car and put a cobalt SS decal on it and not paint that part so essentially the emblem will be the carbon showing through
