I wanted to but the Pontiac symbol on my center console, but the plastic material is very rough and I figured it just would work. So I had an idea for a better more permanent idea.
I'll need a center console lid, and a pontiac Vinyl
Take the lid of the console, sand, prime and paint it white white a coat or two (white is gonna be the color of the symbol). Let it dry.
I'll put a vinyl Pontiac (or chevy in your case) symbol on the case, the paint over EVERYTHING in black, leaving the area under the vinyl white.
Take off the vinyl and clear coat it...

Has anyone done this? I think it'll look pretty good without being too over the top... I'll tell you how it goes when I do it.
