So i bought this cf hood online. it looked like it was a true hood scoop but its accually not. i was wondering if anyone else had this hood and if they have modified it to be a functional hood scoop.

 

If you're skilled in glass, then it's definitely possible. If not, you could get a professional to do it. As far as "functional" though.. we'll it'll let your engine breathe a little. Hood is def not my style, but congrats none-the-less!

 

you can actually just take a dremal and cut that backing out or even just drill some holes in it

 

its totaly cutable.

 

oh its deffinitly cuttable..... and god that scoop could swallow a small child.

 

sorry but IMO that is the gowdyiest hood ive prob ever seen. need for speed or in real life but hey your money your car your preference

 

Could you please get a pic of the underside of the hood? this will allow a complete and truthful answer to your question

 

lol I have to agree with the previous comments about the scoop.

but just cut it with a dremel and it should be all good, take a different angled shot of the scoop. mabey from that angle it looks more Monsterous than it is.

 

Not my taste. Just cut it out with a sawzaw or something. Not really going to improve cooling that much, but I would want to cut it too.
