I can see this in terms of functionality and that it could help to keep rain and crap off the window to help visibility

personally I'm going to get a dorsal fin to replace my sunroof, to cut through the wind...then put some fins on the side, to speed up the car and finally put a tail on the back, to make sharper turns...No one better steal my idea.

actually i've never heard rally yellow post anything about his car. personally i would never post pics of a mod on here either because people on here are so hypocritical. no matter what anyone gets there's ALWAYS atleast one person that says "you shouldn't have bought that hunk of ****!!!" just because they don't like it or have a differance of opinion. i could go spend $300 on a fujita CAI and post a picture up and some nimrod would post "WTF would you ever buy that crap for you're going to get CEL's all flippin day you should have got a K&N!!!"" just because they have one they think everyone should have one. but back to this thread...i think this ebay item is a cheap piece of crap and the person who "invented" it so to speak should bedrug out in the street and beaten with a blunt object. i'm not saying they aren't functional on EVO's or STI's or serve a purpose but i have a hard time believing that a lot of research and development went into this item since they are selling it for $50 on ebay. if this was such a fantastic idea they would be selling it for $200 in a tuner magazine. if someone wants to buy it then have a day but expect me to laugh at them when they post pics.

i think this mod will look like crap on the cobalt and won't be functional but i would still like for someone to bite the bullet and get one so they can post pics of it on.

 

Show me some dyno sheets telling me that its bad. You must have tested it personally since you have so much knowledge of what i have done. I am not saying that its any where near a CAI but it cant be any worse than the **** that it came with. A direct line fom the airbox to the intake will always be better than that crazy ass box that was mounted on the throttle body. Wow you have a real intake man your unique.....

 

have you thought about going to autozone and buying one of those universal intake kits? they cost 20 to 30 bucks they would have a lot better flow

 

Save up if you want real performance. I have the AEM intake. It works really well and sounds great. If you want to say you did it yourself, then go make one. It won't perform well, but I guess you'll get bragging rights on fabricating your own intake. It's all about what you want out of your car.

 

Look, another Cobalt hater on a Cobalt forum. When is this going to end?

 

I wish I did buy an ls or lt. I'd actually have part money. 40+hours a week just to survive is a bitch.
