IMO you get what you pay for. The cheapest I would go is $100 without being skepitcal about how good they are or how long they will last.

Mine were around 180, i had them for about a year and no porblems with them what so ever.

when you can offer a $29 product with lifetime warranty, it really puts your customers at ease. i have bought 6 hid kits from ddm for a bunch of different cars. none have failed

I have these as well. 4500k in the headlamps and fogs. Low beams glared really bad so I ended up switching the high and low beam. I am using the high for low, and low for high, if that makes sense. Once aimed right, they look wonderful and do not glare other drivers at all. They even have a decent cut off line, i am really happy with them. My high beam (low for the bulb) do not look all that great, but thats ok.

headlights are 9007, you probably want to get high/low too, unless you dont want brights anymore. the fogs are h11. most people just get the 35w kits, i know i did. it really depends on what you want as far as bulb color. 4500-5000k is pure white. theres a chart on ddm's site somewhere that shows color.

this thread will be some help too: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearance-48/hids-what-you-should-know-before-you-buy-94774/

ya if you don't want to buy new projector housing get a set of G1 retro projectors. They're cheap and have a decent cutoff. If your gonna paint your housing anyway, they are a great option that require no cutting and are completely plug and play.

I highly suggest a set of projector headlights. The best is the retrofit jobs that a few members here can perform for a reasonable price. The members who retrofit the stock housings use HID rated projectors and these are usually the best in quality.

If you cannot spend the money on the retrofits, there are 4 different styles of aftermarket housings to choose from. Although the projectors from ebay are not true HID projectors, they are still much better than using the unmodified stock headlight.
