Check out my new interor (lots of pics)

Alright well check out what i have been working on and saving up for on the past couple of months. Let me know what you think.

The car is hella dirty but this is about three coats of night shades on the tail lights:

so im going with the black and red "theme":

Some of the spots need to be touched up. I scratched a couple of things when i was trying to reinstall them

Here is the new deck i just put in this weekend. It is a Jensen 9312 7" Touch Screen. I got it off Crutchfield.com for 420$ shipped. Its an awesome deal if you ask me.

I'm still looking for a place to mount this media link, i was thinking of inside the glove box but i just haven't done it yet:

To go along with the new deck are my two 12" Alpine Type E subs.

I still plan on replacing the silver climate control with a black one. Everyone let me know what you think. I am mos def open for suggestions. Next I will be getting an intake, then eveuentally sportlines, and finally 19's.

thanks. i just took the parts on the door panel off. you can take the one with the switches off with a screwdriver. pop up the black thing and unscrew it. the door handle same thing, but you have to take off the whole door panel in order to disconnect the handle. and for the gagues i just unplugged them and took them out. the plastic trim comes off from the plastic that covers the gagues. i didnt realize that and i took forever to tape it off. once you get everyting off the painting is easy

awsome job man! that interior looks awsome, though the red on the main trim pieces is a little much (hense why i'm splitting mine) however, I plan on doing the same thing with the handle and the switch bezzel, not sure about the cluster part though, I may I may not.

any way Awsome interior, love the paintjob, you wouldn't happen to be any where near southern california would you? I could use some pointers lol

2 suggestions... see if you can mount the media link in that area below the hvac... right by the 12v connector (if you just allow the connectors to go thru it would look very clean) and second you should get the black hvac controls from a LS model... i think it would fit much better with the red/black theme

ya i know what you're talkin about. but then my ipod will be out and i want to keep it hidden so i don't have to worry about it and i plan on getting the the black hvac from a ls as soon as i find one.

the trim around the shift boot doesn't come off. you have to take the whole center piece off and tape off around it. thats one of the areas i have to touch up because theres a couple of chips and some red on the black part

thats where i orignally wanted to put it...put i ran the wire to the other side of the car. so when i feel like it i might take my dash apart in order to run it to that side

the console just pops up...it might be easier to take the one off by the e-brake first, then the center one. make sure you unplug the 12V power things. it also might be easier to take it off if you take the cup holders out first.

i dont think you should have painted the glove box handle or those top vents. they look out of place. maybe even not even around the speedo. my .02. looks good otherwise.

i don't really like how shiny the red is...but if you like it, all that matters.

but seriously Alpine Type E subs? you should've saved up and bought something somewhat decent...Visions up here in Canada sells 2 12" Type E's in a box for like $300. I had cheap ass subs in my first car and man did i regret spending money on them...lol
