It's very well done bro. Great job!
Did you base/clear, or single stage paint it? What brand? You've got alot of wheels turning in my head.

looks good but the thing with the ipod i know you want to have in in the glove box but the only thing is once you have run out of songs on the play list you have to reach over and get the ipod out of the glove box.... seeing how thin they are now could you rig up a slot (like a plastic cell phone clip almost) and mount it in the groove between the seat and console. it would almost be completly hidden... and you can reach it and be able to change the playlist with out haveing to go into the glove box. you can run the wire inside th console so it would be hidden too. i dont know it is an idea...

but i love the paint looks good

i went with type E's because i got a good deal on them. although if i could go back and do it again a would have prob. gotten a different set up in the trunk. but they work good for me

ummm i don't quite understand what you mean? i sanded, used 4 coats of sandable primer, 6 coats of paint, and 5 coats of clear coat. i used all duplicolor

i control the playlist on the screen. the only time i need to access my ipod is when i want to watch a movie or look at pics. other then that i control the ipod on my deck just as i would control it using the ipod. it even has some cool features where i can jump ahead to certain songs by their number or whatever. so pretty much anything you can do on the ipod i can do from my deck.

How did you paint the vents on top of the dash? Did they come out?

A little off topic, but I didn't realize GM changed the steering wheels in our cars. Was that just in '07 they changed them?

It definitely is a small thing but I do prefer the '07 setup a little better. It just seems to be a little cleaner and better organized.

that ipod hook up came with my jensen deck. i don't think it can hook up to the stock deck. there is no where in the back of the stock deck to hook anything up as it is. im don't even know if that media link will hook up in any deck besides a jensen.
