so i was driving down rt. 36 and up ahead i see a silver pos with duct tape flopping off of the body kit cruisin. i get closer to inspect the horrible "pimp" job done to a late 90's civic.. but the one thing that stood out the most was what looked to me like an exact replica of our SS wing.. except he had a manmouth thrid brake light spanning across it. i pulled away with some confusion... was our wing stole from another aftermarket company?.. i had never seen our wing before i got my SS so i was just wondering.

 

find it again and snag a photo of it maybe ? interesting....

 

finding the same ricer twice in this town is like finding a specific piece of hay in a haystack.. if i ever find him again i will take a picture.. but also considering that i leave for utah in 4 days.. its probably not gonna happen

p.s.- if anyone lives in or around SLC, im leaving for my road trip and will be there in about 2 weeks.. love to run to the salt flats or something

the SS wing was around years before the cobalt SS came out. GM put it on the cobalt to attract the tuner market i guess.

 

i realized that the wing had possibly been out.. i was wondering if anybody knew the company that manufactured the wing.

 

oh ok, my mistake. damn, i have no clue who makes that wing. i'm sure there are different versions of it from numerous companies. here is one that looks slightly like it except this one is wider. the guy says it's made from aerospeed.

 

i believe that is the terminator, or very similar at least

its looks similar.. but the bottom of it just gets wide.. where on ours it is narrow.. then gets wide.. the civics look exactly the same as ours.. only with a huge led strip third brake light... but very nice find regaurdless.

That wing is beyond old. That wing was old 5 years ago.

 

Yeah that eclipse is real riced out!! but i kno this has nothin to do with the conversation but since were talkin bout ricers i once saw a white mustang with a GTR emblem on it " the ones on the skyline" so i pulled up next to him and started laughing at him because it was hilarious at how such a dork he was, so he jus gave me the middle finger and took off. lol!!!

I know Wings West made a spoiler that was almost identical to the SS/SC.
I saw it on a mid 90's Civic looked ok i guess but not as good as it is on the Cobalt.
