So I've been wanting my dad to paint some blue stripes on my silver SS/SC when we repaint my whole car(staying silver) probably within the next couple weeks. The Stripes would go from bottom of the front to bottom of the back, just two wide stripes. And some blue underglow would be added.
But I was also thinking about painting my headlights, taillights, and wheels black. And now that I think about it, do yall think the blue and the black would clash? I also have 15% tint going all the way around when we paint the car.

If it turns out bad I could always just have my dad repaint my car without stripes but I dont want to buy new headlights, taillights, and wheels.

Opinions? Im stuck..

 

what color blue we talking here ? what you could do is accent the blue into the calipers and put a blue lip on the rims to help with the silver and black with the blue stripes but again, a more specific blue would help and someone could even do a photoshop for you with what your asking so you can see what it would look like.

 

id just go "black stuff", you dont want to much clashing

you should do dark blue, like a navy blue for the stripes...and then color match ur headlights silver. and if u still want to paint ur rims after that, just do like a dark blue lip rather than the whole things. that would be the sex imo

 

heres a basic picture. i dont have front lip, should be here friday. not sure why there wasnt one on it. oh btw - my dad was talking about painting the car a darker silver if that would help.
and it would be like a dark navy blue like the top middle blue in this picture

what about the taillights? keep em the same or tint em?

yeah, i would just keep tails the same...and look around for some pics of color matched headlights, they turn out really good imo....and i like the second in from the left...i think that more of a navy blue would be nice, i've never seen it b4 and it would really work with silver.

 

I don't think it'd be too bad, but personally I think black stripes on the car instead of blue would look amazing. Just my .02
