cleaning ss/sc wheels

i just put my summer tires back on and i was wondering if there is anything special u guys use to get that nice shine back in the wheels. mine collected all sorts of dirt and dust over the winter and i wanna make em nice and clean.

any suggestions?

i just spray on some rim cleaner (meguiars) and then some soap and water.

I use Meguiars wheel cleaner and it does the job.

Michelin makes this great product (spray) that cleans and repels dust. You don't have to clean 'em as often

Are the rims not painted, I would just wash and wipe them down good, then put a heavy coat of plain old car wax on them. Thats what I do and man they wipe off nice and easy the next time you clean them!.

Watch meguiars on the gun metal rims it will result in flaking.... duh read the bottle...

I Use Eagle One Wheels & Tires Cleaner And It Does A Good Job, But Meguiars Is Good Too.

wait wax the wheels? why didnt I think of that? they are painted. duh
