cleaning tinted windows
ok guys just got my windows tinted yesterday i have two questions...i know i need to clean the inside wit cleaner that has no ammonia, any suggestions for cleaners? and also i was gonna wash my car today and i wasnt sure if the moisture from washing my car will get inside and ruin the tints;should i wait a couple more days to wash the outside as well
you can wash the outside of your car like normal, just wait about a week so the tint can cure and get all the water out of the film before you start to clean it.
Invisible glass by stoner is a good tint safe glass cleaner.

a soft cloth with some very mild warm soapy water.
then wipe down with a soft paper towel.
I personaly would never spray a window cleaner on the inside.
maybe if it was "tint safe" but i still stick to soap/water.
its what the pros told me to use. so i use it.

ok cool now the place that did the tints said to wait 2-3 days to roll the windows down should i wait a week or is that just to clean them
i find a nice 80 grit sandpaper works great, get it nice and foggy then take a small sandblaster to them ( to get them pesky dried on bugs).. finish it off with a rub down of some acid.. oh couldnt get a window any better than that..
just playin..
i waited a week before i even rolled the windows down.. after that. i treat them as normal windows.. no problems...

yes, do not roll down the windows for a minimum of 2-3 days. If you can make it longer to roll them down then do it. the longer you wait, the more the tint has secured itself to the window and the less of a chance of pealing you will have
Yea you just gotta wait for the glue in the tint to settle
haha...i was like is this guy serious....i would use 20 or 30 grit if that even exists...but thats just me
