Clear chipping?

Is there any way to stop or get rid of clear chipping. Last summer when I got my bumper painted I did my roof as well since the hot texas weather was already eating up the paint. Now my drivers side rear fender is chipping in 2 different places. fml. Any way to fix this? I was going to buff it but it got bad really fast to where buffing wouldn't work on it.

Well buffing (polishing) only removes clearcoat. U could put on many layers of sealant, which really doesnt do much to add to it but it does protect your paint much better than wax. Of all else fails... Clearbra?

there is not really anything you can do. Once the clear coat is burned through its gone.

yeah but your car is silver so it shouldn't be as noticeable as on black -_- lol

I wonder if I could just buff it so that the edge of the clear would smooth out and leaving it like that so it wont chip more until I am able to afford repainting it. Hopefully a different damn color
