Clear on front

Does anyone know if you could just paint a section of the front of the car with the plastidip clear stuff to keep the rock chips away and if it would just peel off like the other dip? I have been thinking of either doing this or getting the clear film to protect from rocks. I hate all the chips and dings on the paint after driving . If anyone has pictures on their car of this that would be cool to see as well.

If you could afford the clear film, I would go with that. It would be more permanent than the plastidip. I'm pretty sure you would have to keep redoing the plastidip after you get rock chips. So I guess the way I see it, clear bra is long-term, plastidip is short-term.
