Thanks man! And the whole thing took me about a day. Started at about 10 in the morning and had everything back together just after dinner. To get the plastics off, you just have to pull. Theyre really in there. You have to be careful with some of the bigger pieces like the one in front of the passenger so you dont bend or snap the piece of plastic. Using an old credit card or something helps.
I bought that unit off of ebay and I think someone spilled pop all over it. The knobs were really sticky when you tried to turn them and there was that brown syrup-looking stuff all over the inside. It was easier just to take the face off than to try clean the new one.
