Cobalt Prototype Grille

so i've said it in others thread about an appearnace idea, and no one has seemed to do it. well i go tmy hands on an LTZ Chrome surround for $40 on Ebay. so here is what im trying to accomplish

this is where im at, hoping to ge tit done soon. yes the current bumper is destroyed, I hit a Jeep Cheeroke Sep. 2011. Im going to replace the front bumper soon, and wanted to figure this out before i do. i have to cut the crossbar out to do this, so it needs to be right before i burn that brodge. what do you guys thing? it will be painted alng with teh bumper so it will match better too.

the Basic goal is to make it stand out in a crowd, but most wont notice it otherwise.

edit: thats chalkboard [aint on the hood, thats why it looks like that.

chalkboard paint on a car would be awesome lol. I'd write something different or draw something different on it everyday just because you can

me too lol i love that drawing wish they made a bodykit like that it looks too good

as for this grille idea yeah i do like that. in th eend the only difference is the lower part of the grille pokes out instead of being flush with the bumper... it seems like such a small difference but does add to the look alot.

not with a TC Grille. the LTZ Grille assy is a direct swap, but not with the TC stuff, there is holes to drill and small things to trim.

The thing with that pic above is that it's more than a bumper cover and side effects. Look at the fenders and quarters. Much wider than stock. The side skirts can be found. My neighbor has them on her Cobalt. Headlights and grille easy. I think it's R! that has a bumper that's kinda sorta similar. But those rear quarters are so wide.

My wife's entire car was painted in chalk board paint about 3 years ago. I will post pics when I get home.

Nice idea on the grill. In for finished pictures.
