carbon fiber is better than fiberglass...
if you don't like the look, just get it painted

you could paint it.... but why would you... you would be hiding the carbon fiber... if i had a carbon fiber hood, i might in the future, id leave it how it is..

but if u really want to paint it you could.

if u get one put it on ur car first then see if u like it lol

either way you got to paint it if you want it color matched. the carbon fiber is going to be stronger and lighter. plus it wont spider web.

spider webbing is what happens to a fiberglass product when put through the abuse of hot sun, vibration, and rocks. the fiberglass will crack very slightly, but enuff to ruin your day...and your paint job.

if i was you i would get the carbon, then if you want to paint it, then do the color matched paint on the sides and leave the carbon in the middle.

Everything is good except for one hairline fracture on the very front of the hood. but it was caused by me pushing down on it.

again, personally i would go with the carbon hood.. its great with weather, sun, everything else.. just paint the hood according to your color and leave the scoop carbon.. it would look badass i promise.. but thats me personally.. if you get a fiberglass one you will be seeing alot of things you dont like in the next few years.. especially since you live in texas like me.. so, a word of advice.. carbon fiber all the way

not any worse than it'd **** up the fiberglass
if you have the money/patience, go with the carbon..
looks better/lasts longer/weathers better/lighter/stronger.
