should i go carbon fiber and color match the hood except the scoop, OR go fiberglass and just color match the whole hood?

 

I will in due time. I need to pay off a couple tickets first.

When I got mine painted it was like 400 for top and bottom. So It'd probably be pretty expensive to have them mask off the scoop



I was re adjusting the hood latch so it wouldn't raddle and I pushed pretty hard. It was my own fault.

Also I don't know where I read this but I think its kinda hard to paint carbon fiber. like it won't look right or something. I dont know that might not be true

 

i say like my original post, go with the cf. it looks nice as hell on a blue balt.



as far a the price for paint. depends on the shop. DONT GO WITH THE CHEAPEST!!! and cf is a bitch to prep. painting is not that bad

 

DELETED WHAT I SAID... because I realized I was an *******... hahaha... but Daman, for the love of Smurfette in the smurf village after a prohibition on masturbation... what the hell were you thinking with that chrome grille? Please tell me that you smashed into a 300M so hard that it is inside of your Cobalt and that all you can see is the grille.

 

Trust me it looks much better in person than in those pics. Its actually powdercoated black with pollished edges. here's better pics of it

 

how much does this hood run for?

 

that hood make the car look longer in the front,, or is it just an effect of the pic in my Computer??
