Cobalt SS/TC Lighting and Projectors

Question: Does that little strip in the front come off? I'm debating to get those but I dont know if I want that stupid little slash in the front of my headlight.

i ordered these headlights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...Q5fAccessories
these are expensive but have a lifetime warranty and looks as if it does not have those vertical lines in the plastic cover. Oh, the headlights are backordered so no idea when i'll recieve them and if your iffy about ebay u can find their website

if you can find a lens cover that doesn't have it you should be able to seperate the cover from the housing and glue it back.

then maybe they somehow changed something in the 09 i'm driving because the glare is almost non-exsistant, or maybe i've got a better HID kit i dunno but on my lights the glare is 100x less than my last car.........i rly gotta go take "projector" aiming pics to show u guys that mine are not that bad.

i know it's not the RIGHT picture to prove anything but at least u can see a little bit of wat i'm talking about till i can go take more pics tonite. The glare is only there if your directly infront and inline with the headlight, off to the side a little bit, below a little but, above a little bit......the glare tapers off hugely compared to most vehicles cars I see with HID's..........u want glare, try a 1996 GM 1500 Pickup truck with HID's, THOSE will blind ppl, i still have yet to have anyone flash their lights at me, that happened to me all the time in my last car but not the cobalt.

^^^^^^if the glare was rly bad u'd have the drivers side headlight glaring hardcore in that picture

simple is a 1-2 step, taking apart the headlight..........12step program, preheat, bake, reseal.......it's not "rather simple" it's tedious work and alot of ppl don't have the time, tools, knowledge, courage to take apart a brand new car, ect ect.

Nice pic, looks VERy good. But I don't think they changed the headlights. 07-09 is the same part # I think.

Ya really have to be on the receiving end of it. Drive down the opposite way of your car and have a buddy of yours drive it past, you'll see what I mean.

But if it doesn't cause an issue then good, less people will be blinded.
