Color matched SPRAY PAINT from GM!

i found the part number for this for my 96 grand prix (35U) by giving my friend (works in parts at a dealer) my vin number. of course, if you dont get the right person, they might not be able to find it for you.

I found Victory Red in Canadian Tire. This is a Duplicolor product and it is a dead on match for my car. I did the roll cage and the colour is perfect. Sorry, I didn't look for other Cobalt colours.

I actually had a tougher time that I thought trying to get this ordered. Turns out that all the dealers in my county had a new ordinance slapped on them that they can't sell paint anymore with out a special license...due to all the damn druggies around here who love to huff paint and ****...as if the crystal meth wasn't enough...I had to order it out of the county...
My dealership also told me that Duplicolor makes all the touch up paint for GM anyways, and to go try ORielly's or Autozone; none of which had Sunburst Metallic Orange in their database.

Since you guys are supplying the paint code for our cars is would be great if any could tell me wha the GM paint code is for the 05-06SS/SC 18'' gunmetal gray painted wheels. I'm thinking about repainting them in the spirng time but don't want to do it till I can get the correct paint.

Sorry guys but I don't work for GM anymore so I can't answer some of these but some I still can. The silver on the dash trim doesn't come in paint form from GM. In fact GM sells NO INTERIOR paints at all! I know bummer.
As for the wheels they are coated not painted, don't ask me but thats what I've been told. AND they sell no paint as well its not a paint but a coating. For chipping wheels GM sends them out to be fixed by a certified shop and that can take weeks! Sorry guys.
Now as for GRANITE BLUE! LOL! I don't know why but they never made it in spray form! Weird huh? Its a cool color and I WISH they'd paint the SS's in it cause its the color I wanted! Saddly they do not.
Any other questions I can answer I will but if I can't....sorry.
BTW. those dealers who say they can't sell it cause you may huff it they are FULL OF ****! They sell this paint ON LINE and every dealer most certainly can get it as the EPA or whoever has no control to whom they sell spry paint! They are just being lazy and I'm sorry your having problems getting your colors.

help getting paint in canada
I need some help.
I want to do some color match painting on my 06 Laser Blue cobalt, but i live in canada and the GM dealer here is telling me that they cannot order the spray cans, and to make matters worse.. GMPARTSDIRECT wont ship to Canada....
can anyone suggest something for me... would anyone in the states be willing to get me a few cans and ship them to me?
