Then go to a different dealer! Seriously, its right there in the computer they ALL have at EVEY dealership! If they don't want to deal with or get the spray paint go elsewhere.

Sport Red is listed, last one. Go check again.

cost me just over 15 a can, ******* rediculous. I had to buy 3 to do my interior trim cause i screwed up on a few parts and put alot of coats on.

Today I went to get a can of Krylon fusion to paint my pioneer sub grill and it matches my car perfect for $4 and its 3x the size with a fan spray nossle. I was pissed.

All I did was post part numbers I never said you couldn't find aftermarket paint that may match. I know its not cheap due to the rape fator at most parts departments but just so you know this stuff is like $9.00 a can cost.

forget GM they full of crap I ordered my touch up paint and waited three weeks and had to get a refund cuz they couldnt order it then found out that goin to a local auto paint store color matched my paint better then GM would have.
you would have to think over time your paint would start to fade they can color code your paint to match

HATED the gold bowties. Every bowtie on my car is blue thanks to the vinyl gods!

Didn't end up getting mine, as apparently we don't stock spray cans in Canada... whatever. I'm close enough to Detroit or Buffalo.

I just went by the dealer for an unrelated issue, and while there asked about some spray. They told me they have placed several orders over the last couple of weeks and EVERY ONE has been canceled by GM. Anyone had any success recently getting this stuff through the dealer?

I know right? Outragously ultra high taxes, socialized govt., having to get on a waiting list for that "free" health care. Its gotta suck! And now to top it all off Canada can't get the GM color matched spary paint! WTF? It must have to do with the "free" solizied govt. controled health care system fearing everyone will huff the paint. I guess that what happens when the govt. has too much power and controls too many aspects of your daily life. Beyond that I couldn't begin to tell you.

This may help shead some light on it. We went to order a stage 2 SC kit from GM and it shows as being discontinued thru GM. BUT thru GM Performance Parts and Adscom it IS still availible. GM's outside vendors/suppliers are going thru a very rough patch right now what with the bankrupsy but the word I'm hearing from my dealer friends is its a temporary issue. Now how temporary I couldn't tell you but I hope it works itself out ASAP!

As for my wierd Canadian friends, I'm only kidding guys, relax.

Does anybody actually recommend using SPRAY paint for touch up jobs? I'm thinking it's going to make a bigger mess in that application than it's worth. On my way to a local automotive paint store to see if they can set me up with some touch up paint for my 06 Laser Blue Metallic (got the color code)...I'll see what options they have.
