Exactly, that's why I said I wish they made them in red. When I looked at the booklet they never mentioned red so I said meh, forget about it.

Edit: Oh ok they make red but it's a solid color, got it. Thanks.

That's good to know. I guess it's back to the dealership. I just got the updated stage reflash. Damn trips to the dealer.

dude you should get like glow in the dark paint, paint them that and then gloss over them. So when you are driving the buttons glow. That would be BAMF

those are so ugly...lightning? come one

and for all the people who keep bitching about chipped paint...I sprayed a layer of clear coat over all the silver trim pieces, no problems...can pick at it and nothing comes off.

I just finished painting my door handles too. A little 600 grit takes the old silver off really easy. Then just hit it with the new krylon plastic paint (6-8 coats) and then some clear/sparkle top coat. It comes out really nice, looks clean and doesnt look like rice. While I was in there I also took the liberty of changing out all the leds in the door switches so they glow red now like the G5.

yeah but you shouldnt have to do that to a brand new car and just to let you know since you spray the clear coat on them you have voided any warrenty that would have covered them... i personally dont care about warrenty on the pieces which is why i painted mine yellow.

For the G5 they have it in all colors, so I'm sure you can get them in all colors, or at least Yellow, red, and blue. The customization optioons for the G5 are pretty good. Go to pontiac and build and price.

It is. There are at last I checked 3 varients of the Sunburts Orange. BUT Gm does sell color match spray paint that is VERY VERY close to the cars color if not a dead on match.

are those just vinyl stickers or plastic replacements? It might be sweet if the lightning was hologramed into the plastic.
