Colored window tinting?

I'm curious, is it possible to have your windows tinted but instead of them looking black could they have a reddish hue to them?

Is this possible?

Yah decided I'm not going to do that. The people I'm probably going to get a tint from don't do colors. The guy also said the same things you guys said.

Thanks anyways though. :P

Yeah, red tint is illegal in AZ too.

Its the same as red sunglasses, the red actually makes the sunlight worse for your eyes.

color tint is illegal in most states I bought a s-10 about 8 years ago and it had a chrome tint that looked cool but was illegal and the cops made me take it off on the spot even though I bought it allready on the truck. Make sure you check your local laws before spending money on something the cops will make you peel back off.

IMO the law lets you put only a strip of tint on the front glass at the top and I think that it look stupid IMO... just do the sides and back!

Damn your states suck for tint. AZ can do 35% on front sides, a strip on front(gay), and as dark as you want everywhere else.
I'm probably going 35% all around or 35% front sides and 25% everything else. Any darker and you can't see anything at night.

My dad said he can hook me up for about $150-175.

Yeah, I don't know, I had a buddy telling me 350 for his tint job. I think he got ripped.

If the tint is factory it's actually made into the glass... that's grandfathered in... they can't ask you to take off something that's made in the glass. But yes... as far as I know.. in places that have tint laws any reflective "mirror" tint is illegal.

Exactly and if you wanna do the job yourself with that cheap tint it will look like crap.
I would much rather pay 175 for a great job and something that will last and not peel up in a couple years when I roll my windows down. Mesa is south of Phoenix, all the cities here kinda blend together. It would be a good driveBut like I said, my dad can hook me up, its not realistic for everyone else, prob more like 250 or so.

Mapquest says 5h 50min 310 miles

Yah too far.

I agree, I DO NOT trust myself with tinting my windows. I'd rather have it proffesionally done so it LOOKS proffessional.
