Complete Foglight Kit - 2.2L Interest Thread

Coming from a 2.2L myself, After swapping the front bumper with a SS bumper. I was now left without foglights. I thought it be nice to have a complete kit made for those who will at some point have this problem. Ive made a few kits for a few members but id thought Id ask everyone if this would be something they would be interested in or not.

The kit consists of the following;
- 2 OEM Foglights
- Wiring Harness
- 2 Pre-Installeed HID Bulbs
- 2 HID Ballasts

*The harness i did not wrap up completely so it looks like a mess :P

Mike do you have any dimensions on the fog lights? I'm looking for something to retrofit into my grand prix and I love our OEM fogs. How wide is that large plastic ring around the outside of the projector (mounting piece I'm guessing). Also how long are they?

If you just need a HID kit, Our website has them. Youd need a H11 kit.

Yes youd want a 9007 Kit. Id suggest a Bi-Xenon kit so you have High Beams. High/Low kits are Single Beam or low beams only

That and to keep strain off the stock harness.

All I need for myself is the wiring/switch for the foglights. I got an SS/SC bumper with the fogs already installed, but since I'm an LS I have no switch for the damn fogs lol.

If you can price me a plug/play harness and switch I'm interested.

I did the same thing, replaced my LT sedan bumper with SS/SC one. I bought fog lights for it, but have no idea how to get them bastards in...I know I have to go from behind the bumper, but how do u get the lock piece on when u can't fit anything in from the front? Any suggestions? or pics would be really helpful. I did do a search but it was only a write up and it still left me clueless...maybe I'm just dumb

Make sure the adjust screw is on top and then just push on. Takes a bit of force but you just push them on.

I actually helped my friend install oem fogs on his LS after he got the SS bumper. It would have been MUCH easier to just install a kit made specifically for the LSs. We ended up using a generic 'add fog lights' kit from Part Source (similar to advance auto maybe?) and there was barely enough wire to get it in, and it was just a pain in the ass in general.

Would this kit include a button for inside the car? Or would it use something under the hood (i.e. headlight harness maybe)

The fuse box for what? Come on with headlights or running lights? Or is there wiring for a switch build into the car?
