console lights

does anyone know if its possible to change the lights on the center console from that crap whitish color to red? im talking about the buttons and stuff for the climate control and head unit. any ideas?

you should be able too open it up just dont fry anything and swap out the bulbs try radio shack for the bulbs

theres actually a how to on how to do this. i think the guy put different color sleeves over the bulb and didnt actually change the bulb.

i want it to b brighter
but still b able to adjust the

maybe the dimmer fuse blew out

this might work. I thought the hvac and radio lights were leds...i work at a dealer and we cant get bulbs when these burn out, must replace the assembly same for instrument clusters

I would like my gauges just a hair brighter. could I put LEDs in there? btw i do know how to work a soldering iron lol, or would they simply not work?

Black Cat Custom's sells new guages and LED kits for your display.
You can buy just the light kits without the guages.
Now all things being fair you would think the lights in the dash are the same however this is GM and a Cobalt so chances are there not, seeing as they wanted to make madding the damn car as difficult as possible
