curious question

I have a question about the SS emblems like if i could get them Gold plated somehow with a black insert or painted black cause im goin the whole black and gold theme ala the smokey and the bandit firebird gold theme. I looked on google and most were like kits u do at home which im not that comfy with im kinda lookin for a shop to do it or a place near me or atleast a hour and half or less drive from me. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you getting the transmarobird logo on the hood? Please say yes.

Just paint your emblems.

id say if you stripped them then used gold spray paint then some black on the inside and you'd get what you are looking for.

edit: you really want to coat plastic emblems?

Stripes should always stop at hood an trunk.

You could use gold leaf instead of plating. Probably your best option.

I'm pretty sure they used gold leaf back in the days for it. Enough not, it was paint.

Yea gold plate the entire emblem. Then get a black inlay or paint the inside where its white to black.
