Let me know what you think of the colors. I am currently painting my car. I can tell you man its a lot of work. Doing everything but the engine bay. Definetly too much work removing the engine and trans. I dont know how to place the pics on here but should be in my album. Still working on finishing it up. Plan on lowering the car cant stand the height.

is that a ford color? looks good from what i can tell. you painting this yourself or a shop doing it?

 

If your painting it outside of a booth wet the floors down.This will make the dirt stay on the ground and not fly in to your paint.you'll have alot less wetsanding and buffing to do

nice color... half and half?? did u just paint that trunk or what? its got tape whre the lights go... black hood roof and trunk would look sweet with that color.

 

I plan on using the body line for the upper all will be black with pearl added in. The Bottom is actually chevy Tangier orange with a pearl added in. I am painting the car my self. I had painted a Dodge neon the same color a little different a couple years ago. I owned a body shop 3 years ago in Des Moines IA, Got out and just got hit in the right side quarter by some young girl. I figured I would tear it all down and repaint the whole thing. The trunk needs to be painted orange. I wasnt thinking when I painted that and the hood and painted the whole thing Black. I will have more pictures here shortly. Plan on finishing up all painting by Tuesday.

Yep painted in a booth, Still has dirt nibs though. As for the shells haha I moved the business down the street.



Neon From before. I painted the Pearl as a tri-coat. The pearl was in 4 coats. The Balt has the pearl mixed in the paint.
