Currently Painting the SS
EcoTech Honestly I have done roughly 15 custom show cars. None of them have ever been two tone. I will not touch candy paint with a ten foot pole. I mainly did either lots of insurance work as well as old car restorations. I have did it really cheap as it was fun for me. I used to charge 800-1000 per car no jambs. A shop to do the jambs and car would run roughtly 5000.00 Yeah seems hi but thats what most shops charge. If your lucky with the economy down at the moment you might be able to find someone to do for for 1-3000.00 New pics on front page
thats without clear coat, u can upgrade for like 200 or so
haha i hope ur joking... ok so u got 2 jambs, cut in the hood, cut in the trunk, cut the doors in... etc u cant have green jambs with a blue inter door(random colors that would clash) also maco lol u know how many people havebrough there cars back to out shop complaning that the paint is flaking and falling off? from what i can tell they dont rilly scuff it at all and the first rock chip say goodbye to ur paintjob.( experiance: tech at a body shop)
BTW clearcoat should never be an upgrade lol ive never heard of that... usualy we charge for clear but thats because its going onto a blend pannel or something, if they ask if u want clear or not just turn around and walk away.
I plan on getting some nice wheels. I am not sure yet which make or model. I do want them black. I am trying to stay away from the ricer look. I know some may say the orange makes it look like a rice burner however I think it looks classy or elegant. But on the wheels maybe black with a lip that I can paint orange. Not sure yet will have to find a Wheel I like first. I thought about the TC wheels black, and even the Sc wheels but dont care for the ones that are on there. I want something lite.
