Quick question on DDM HID kit for gen2s

It didn't come with a relay, should I put one in?
Should I put in an inline fuse?
Both?
Neither?

Ive been running mine "out of the box" for 4 months now and no issues. but i suppose it wouldnt hurt to slap a relay on 'er
