custom DIC with tuner?

Has anyone looked into setting up the DIC to display a message on key on/start up? Also is there a way to make the needles sweep to redline,160,full tank; back to what they should read upon startup?

GM from the factory designed the needles to twitch. A feature they were looking to attract guys like you with. Guess they failed

I kinda like the eye candy the OP is talking about. My sister's 01 Grand Am GT does it. Thought it was cool.

I want my Xenon headlights to sweep down and then up when I start the car... and then auto-level. Also, when I am turning on a highway, I want the projectors to sweep towards the turn.

Oh, wait, that's a BMW thing...

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Corvettes can be programmed for different messages on the DIC. They say Corvette by Chevrolet but that can be changed. Never heard of Cobalts having anything like that.
