"Corvettes can be programmed for different messages on the DIC. They say Corvette by Chevrolet but that can be changed. Never heard of Cobalts having anything like that. "

What Generation ? (C5 or C6? or both?)

What program/tuning software offers it?

yea the first time i saw the twitch it baffled me a little bit... but i believe this is what the OP is looking for

If you look at the video, when the keys is turned on the DIC says Corvette, then it says By Chevrolet.

That can be programmed to say something different. I don't know if the Cobalt can.

Was talkin to a guy with a beemer, he has a ECU unlock to where the RPM needle points to a certain number RPM and that was how he was selecting his tune set-up. like 1 (1000rpm) was a normal tune, 2 was his kill tune, 3 was valet, 4 was diagnostics. it was really neat. When the car was on it would give a little rev going thru all the selections but never holding the actual rev's jus the needle.

sounds liek the burger tuning jb4 or something, i installed a few at work, the setup on them is really stupid, id rather plug a computer in and quickly reflash the car. piggyback ecus suck.
