I got the duplicolor called "Bright Red"...I don't know what the code is but its labeled on the can.

As for debadging, theres a bunch of how to's on what to do. Different people recommend different things. Its really all up to you

haha no prob! and the guages are actually just two leds mounted on the steering column pointed at the guages (had to put electrical tape aroung the leds so that they wouldnt glare and be visible)

edit: if you look close enough you can actually see them in pic 1

I am bringing this back from the dead...i want to wire some leds behind my door sill so when the door opens, they turn on and turn off when the door is closed. I'm not sure what wires to splice into? Any help would be appreciated

It'd obviously be the map lights to tap into

I understand that but there is no fuse labeled map lights or courtesy lights. I only see interior lights. Do you think if I follow this How to add on to courtesy lights.

that should work?

Well, I have bad luck... I got a fuse tap and was going to tap into the interior light fuse..(far left under the 2amp) But the fuse tap is to large (I got the mini) and is being blocked by the red harness clip, it won't let it go in straight..so then I was going to splice into the wires in that how to... But they are zip tied so damn tight I can't even do cut the zip tie. Plus the wires are not the same color. Third wire on the left is not blue white on line, it's green and white. And the negative wire is not gray, it's like a light brown. So.. Now I gotta see if maybe I can follow the wires straight from the dome light and splice into that.... Such an easy installation had to turn into a pain in the butt.

How can I see if any of those spare fuse slots turn off when the door is closed? Is it just wiring the power to fuse, putting the fuse in the slot and open and close the door to check?

Are you sure your looking down far enough?
Mine are as clear as can be to locate and attached is a video showing the lights timeout 20 seconds after closing the door, takes 10 seconds to dim and as i open the door, turn back on.

The Dark Blue with white tracer is the power and the Grey is the ground.

Anyone purchased the Black Cat gauge face or LED kit? I'm interested in getting their SS face.

I did my own Sport Gauge package and now need to do my SS gauge package. The light output absolutely sucks... Bulbs are either burnt out or are what they are. Poor incandescent bulbs.
Thinking about changing out the other 2 gauges for Red as my whole theme is really red.

I had a custom black cat punisher ss cluster in my lsj with red LED kit. Lights looked amazing at night. Gauge face was extremely well done.
