Custom sedan LED tail lights

I have heard many sedan owners complain that there aren't any good looking aftermarket LED tail lights available for the sedan.
I recently made this set for member in my local Cobalt club.

I used the LED ring from a set of K2 coupe LED lights, used LED bulbs for the side markers, a flashing center bulb for the brake lights & blinkers, and a bright CREE bulb for the reverse lights. I also used the BuyHID's LED conversion for the 3rd brake light and tinted all three fixtures with a smoked vinyl.

What do you guys think?

I will post some nighttime pictures later this week.

And yes, I know the 3rd brake light is crooked, we're going to fix that

I've got a set of stock lnf springs that have like 10k miles on them. I'll sell them to you for 100, will bring your car down a good amount and still ride and handle well

i'll think about that. how much would they drop my base model? If they ride well, then that's better than the eibachs which i heard were real rough

Thanks. Just be careful with the lenses They crack if you just look at them. Ask me how I know ;-)

Not planning on busting this set back open, but I'm hoping to make a ton of these. Got a set I'm working on and got Brad's OEM lights. I offer a core charge for the stock lights to make them more affordable

Unfortunately I forgot to make pics of these before I sealed them back up. I'll make pics on my next set though.

The center bulb that blinks is optional. I can make them without it so it just has the red reflector in the middle. PM me for a price!

After looking at them again, I'm wondering if it would look better without the reflector inside. It looks a little weird when you press the brake and you get that reflection.

It does make everything a little brighter. And the stock K2 coupe lights also have the reflector.
But having said that, it would be pretty simple to spray paint the reflector black.
Maybe if I get bored... ;-)

Looks pretty good. Middle blinker is questionable. Probably illegal (as in looks too much like an emergency vehicle light).

Good job on trying something new!
