Custom SS Hood Blanket

OK, so my daughter and I wanted to customize my hood blanket by drawing the SS Logo ourselves on it. Unfortunately, we did not realize that it (The Drawing) was slightly off center. What do you guys think, keep it or lose it and start over or go back to a blank blanket. I am not sure what I want to do yet.

Yeah, I am sort of crossed on what to do, I like it because it looks really good, but it bugs the crap out of me that it's not centered.

Exactly, She likes it, it bugs her as well that it's not centered, but she can deal with it better then I can.

We can't, that's the problem, it's custom painted.

Have her sign it like on the right corner of it. And if anyone gives you crap about it, tell that your daughter did it a-hole. Then ask what have you done to your car yourself that you just didn't buy and slap on. I would be pissed it was off center but I would leave it there for at least a while for my daughters sake. At least she tired and is involved and I believe that is great. Later on down the line just show her something new to do and ask her if she wanted to start another project. She will most likley say yes and hopefully that would turn out better. How old is your daughter by the way. Ok if she's under 15 my response still is good. If any older then that I would be like who taught you to draw.

My Daughters 14, and she is a really good artist, but trying to create the SS logo on an uneven blanket is not easy.

Yeah no kidding I don't think I would be able to do it. What did you make it with? Props for her giving it a try. Tell her I think it looks good. I might have to give it a shot now though. Went to a car show sunday and had the hood up and kept thinking somthing needs to go there.

We used a mixture of Krylon spray paint (to make the white letters), then finished the details with acrylics.

Thanks, You can find the Upper and Lower grill on Cobalt-Addiction, I paid about $250 for them, and they are easy to install, took me 45mins - 1 hr to install both.
