Dancing light pattern?

So i just went for a ride with my new 55w ballasts and I noticed that the light pattern dances a little, almost like a strobing effect but MUCH less noticeable. I had 35w HIDs and never noticed this before, what could it be? I'm wondering if it was there before but I didn't notice because it wasn't as bright? Any help would be awesome!

Youtube link!! ignore the music :P lol

If you look in the lower right corner you can see what I am talking about... just about.

Wait, is it a "candle light flicker"? I've seen that before, it's a ballast issue.

Mine flutters too, but it seems more like the bulb is moving or lens or something.

Great, another DDM ballast issue... first set was DOA and now these are doing this.

I'm gonna try and take a better video tonight with my real camera, not a cell.

How do I re-aim in a way to get ride of hot spots? The only adjusting I can do is up and down lol. They are blownss Retrofits so... I'm not very experienced with them. Thanks for all the help guys!

did u have a problem with ur 35w ballast?? =\

just go face a wall and re aim them. just to double check. nothing special. i changed normal halogen bulbs and i had to re aim the height cause of hot spots and different light pattern

Nope, no problems with the 35w, other then the first set was DOA. Like I said, I'm gonna run them tonight for a little longer and see what it does. If it's still dancing I'm gonna call up DDM and complain and get another set. After this set I'm not going with DDM anymore, I've just been hearing about too many issues lately.

How are yours hooked up? Are you using a relay harness or do you have the ballasts connected directly to the 9007 plug?

Sorry, was at work. Ok so I am using relays and I pulled my DRL fuse back when I still had stock headlamps. I am using a wiring harness that connects from the fuse tap and on the ground nut on the drives side under the hood. They are D2S bulbs though, so not sure if that helps. The dancing or whatever isn't constant either, it seems to come and go. At first I thought my car wasn't generating enough power for them but even when I'm accelerating and the alternator is juicing up sometimes they still flicker, and when I'm stopped and the car is off sometimes they won't... it's the damnedest thing. The problem just started with i got the 55w bulbs and here is a new video where the dancing is a whole lot more noticeable.

Actually, I don't have stocks now the picture in my sig is old. I'm running FXR retrofits.. Yea I'm gonna RMA them on Monday I think. I really like the output of the 55w over the 35w but not if this is how they act.

Picture of my actual headlights.
