google 3b specs. They have both LED and CCFL. What gen projectors you have?

they do. Its 2 leds pointing in opposite directions lighting up the tube. What I did with my Gen 1s was I pulled the bulbs and resoldered red leds in place of the white ones. Cost me all of like $3 so thats how my "Evil Eye" mod came about

Follows this how to:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...t=replace+halo

Just use red leds instead of white

Ok so after hours of sitting in this chair I found a few things out. Yes the Gen 1 do use LED, but with the hold of posters on this site I found that there is a guide to convert to CCFL on the gen 1 and it if an easy process, (Click this link to view thread)

Now the part that took me some time was finding the 90mm and 100mm ccfl's the 90 were actually harder, especially in red but I did find them at http://www.housinghouse.com/goods-558.html
and at
http://shop.3bspecialties.com/Angel-...2.qscstrfrnt02

I emailed Hanh at 3bspecialties.com and was informed that even thought the site says 90mm are unavailable they can be special ordered which takes about 3 weeks for them to receive.

So for anyone looking for the same info I was a few hours ago I hope this post will help, I think dual demon eyes (or evil eyes) will look pretty sick with the Gen 1 headlights.

Now as far as the three individual LED's you can goto any auto part store and buy small LED bulbs of whatever color CCFL you want to use and throw those in the three holes.

The CCFL's and the SMD angel eyes at this point are an on-demand thing. We throw whatever was asked for, a couple spares and a few extras in the same color (different sizes) at the same time just for the hell of it.

****, I didn't see this. I used 3mm LEDs for the Halos. I think that you can use 5mm ones for the upper 3 LEDs

Operatic, how much would it be (plus shipping) for two 90mm and two 100mm CCFL rings to 23505?

Assuming we have them in stock, $60 shipped.

I haven't broken the 3rd gen open yet.

when measuring the size of the halo, are you measuring inside or outside diameter?

The angel eyes we have are measured by outer diameter, so that's what I based it off of. I just pulled a couple sets and fitted them just to be sure.
