Yea I have that clay bar kit thats how I.knew..just clayed my car like 4 or 5 days.ago..some parts were really dirty..but its been raining ever since then sucks

yeah i usually just do spot checks on my car takes to long to do the whole car lol and wash and all that good stuff. just invested in the porter cable xp and like 150 bucks in supplies haha i started doing detailing on the side also but between all this and work i never get much time to work on my actual car lol my retros are still sitting here cause im doin other ppls

Yea next time ill prolly spot mine..did the whole thing cuz im pretty sure its never been done before..changed my cabin air filter and man was it nasty big difference in ac power now..ill also eventually prolly buy a buffer cuz I did it by hand last time and that sucked lol..ull get to ur retros...eventually lol

Hey nice job bro. I want to do that to but i need my car for work maybe next weekend. So after you took the lens off did u have to sand anything or did you just start painting?

i used 2000 grit sand paper just a light scuff so the paint would stick better

oh ok im gonna try to do it next weekend hopefully i wont have to use my car lol. So when you sealed them back up what sealer did you use?

i used the what sealant was still on there and i used some clear sealant from autozone to fill some holes ... when u pry the lens off make sure you try not to get sealant on the chrome piece ull be painting if so you need some goo gone or maybe try to sand it off cause that **** likes to just smear on there

i used high temp paint just because sometimes the bulbs put out alot of heat exp. projectors so id rather be safe than sry
