Dash fading any sloutions?

Hey. So my 07 SS the black plastic dash is starting to fade to a whitish color. Anyone try any products like Wipe New, Armor All Outlast trim restorer or anything like that? Any other suggestions?

to keep it from getting any worse you can grab a sun shade thing to throw in the window.

I'd start with cleaning it, a good boars hair brush and a diluted detergent. Then my personal selection for cleaning and protection is first Adam's Leather and Interior cleaner then Adam's Leather Conditioner (the have a .ca site also)

Have you been using solvants on it over the years when you detailed your interior??

I always, and only wipe my interior plastics down with a mild dawn/warm water solution.

I would never use any sort of armor all products on my car.

Try 303 protectant since it has UV blockers. It also provides a matte looking finish; no oily residue.

dont know how resilient our plastics are, but i know on motorcycle plastics, guys will apply heat with a heat gun to gain some color back to faded plastics. not sure if that would be effective here though

i agree with staged though. i wouldnt use any sort of chemical to clean my car. hell, i dont clean my car to begin with
