How to remove dash trim help?

 

There just clipped on, pull on one side very very slowly and start on a corner.

 

i just tried and for some reason i couldnt get it off nicely im afraid of breaking it!!!

did you use a screwdriver???? or anything to pry off a corner?

i did try searching and nothing came up buddy

i got the big one off with the ss symbol on it but i cant ******* get the little one where ur info button is god dam has to be so hard

 

It's tough... but you just pull on it. If you adjust the steering wheel height, you should be able to get a finger or two in beside it to pull on it.

 

Yeah man..it feels like it might break but trust me it wont, its all brute force and rip it off...but do it with some common sense, if u want try using a screwdriver to pry out one clip which will give u a good start to tear out the piece, but the plastic is tougher than it seems, you will not break it, or shouldnt at least

 

do you still have warranty? blame it on hitting a bump or something?

not but seriously i need the trim off to install my double din dvd player

 

I hate the trim its freaking hard to take off not like the cavalier even though you had to take the whole dash off of it.

 

lol trim is a pain in the ass, ive had mine off about 5 times and got hurt every time.... BTW for the record there is a thred on it i believe called How to remove your dash trim,... i used it to do mine

 

haha sorry guys, was trying to help the guy with an excuse to rip with all his might, in case he did break it..haha oh well
