Dashpod guage mount?!

Has anyone here tried to fit the WRX dash pod onto the cobalt? I think something like that would look fantastic!

I just don't like the pillar pods. I find it hard to see all of them, because one blocks part of the one behind it, etc.

If someone was to fabricate the one that goes in the guage area with the Speedo I would buy it in a heart beat. But I wouldnt mind this either. I just wouldnt want to cut the dash.

halfcent was working on one..... for this to work though you would have to cut out part of the dash on our cars or it would look way to big

Please someone make these for our cars and start selling them, I'm desperate for a gauge pod option other than pillar pods, I'm just not quite desperate enough to pay 200 bucks for a handmade one yet.
