DDMTuning replacement bulbs, question?

This should be a pretty quick question. I currently have a set of DDM tuning HIDs, 9006 size bulb, and I'm getting a set of retrofits that need D2S size... Do i need to order a whole new HID kit or can I just get the bulbs? Better yet, since DDM is sold out, can I just run down to autozone and snag some D2S bulbs or will they not be compatible?

Just order the replacement D2S bulbs from DDM & plug them in your old 9006 ballast. You don't need a whole new hid kit if you already have the ballasts. As for just running down to Autozone to snag some D2S bulbs, they might not be compatible with the DDM ballast. I would bring one of your DDM ballasts to Autozone to make sure.

Most online kits tend to use a standarized connector, so you should just be able to order D2S bulbs and they'll connect to your ballast. I'm not sure what bulbs autozone carries for HID, but I'm probably going to say that they're for OEM ballasts which use a different connector.

You'll need the harness too. Trust me its cheaper to buy a whole kit. The harness Its 2o bucks plus 15 for bulbs when you could get a whole kit for 30. Trust me been there done that

If you have a DDM kit, the DDM D2s bulb will be 100% compatible.

That's good news.

I ordered the bulbs back on the 13th and they still haven't shipped. I sent them an email on the 18th and they haven't gotten back to me. I'm thinking about just ordering some from another site because my retrofits are coming tomorrow and I just don't want to wait lol.

If I buy this adapter along with these bulbs you guys think they'll work with my DDM ballasts?

So I tried calling ddm-tuning and I got an automated responce that simply said "that mail box is full, goodbye" and then they hung up on me. They got some awesome customer service over there...

Anyway, yea I ordered those parts so hopefully ill get my retrofits in by Monday. Thanks for you help guys.
