so, for the last three days, i've been going over my car and super-detailing it, preparing it for the two+ month storage. i spent an entire day on the interior, shampooing and conditioning everything that wasn't plastic and scrubbing everything that was. the last two days have been spent on my engine compartment and exterior.

i received a Porter Cable 7242 and some really nice pads for Christmas. so, i cleaned my paint and stripped it of what little polish was left on, then today i went about correcting some minor flaws, polishing and sealing the paint. i won't go into detail unless you really care, i'll let the pictures tell you.

ANYWAY - i got to my rear decklid and looked at my crooked badges and thought of how good my rearend would look without them. so, i took them off.

oh, i also organized my trunk, and i'm very proud of it. as there's not much room, i decided to fit the things that i ABSOLUTELY had to have with me under the false floor, and then i put a little (thick, shop-ready) paper towel rack at the top, as i am obsessive with cleaning my interior.
