I found the best way was heating up the badge with a hairdryer and using a credit card to get it off (one that you don't need as it WILL wreck it), just use your finger/nail to get the sticky **** off, when it's warm it comes off pretty easily, then use lighter fluid to get the rest off. Lighter fluid is better than Goo Gone as I have both used them. The Goo Gone started to eat away at the paint so use lighter fluid. Then make sure you wash and wax the area. That's how me and my buddy did it a couple days ago.

hair dryer, finger nail, thumb (blisters), then bug & tar remover, wash then wax w/ cleaner wax... in that order... @ least thats what I use...lol & i just took the door strips off the side of my LS this weekend... that was a 2 day process w/ everything else I had going on, but it looks GREAT... blister is almost gone

One of the things I found to work great for this is Zippo lighter fluid or any lighter fluid as far as that goes. It will NOT harm your clear coat or paint!!! It also works well for removing road tar, bug guts, tree sap, on and on.

Your car is brand new man.... pull them bitches off... use your finger to roll the black foam **** up!

Wipe it down with goo-gone and then wax the area you just pulled the badges from!

I heated the emblem up and worked in 80+ degree weather. Then jimmied it off with an old credit card. Once you get first little bit off, you can pretty much pull the rest off with your fingers. Then I used bug and tar remover to get rid of the residue. Then washed and waxed it.

EEEKk... you guys make me cringe when you use a card... you got lucky, but it will definitely scratch. USE FISHING LINE!!!

It cuts through like a knife through butter

Qft, a hairdryer and fishing line will work perfectly, then use some googone to help get the remaining glue off

Bug and tar remover... let it soak after heating the badge a little. wipe it off and heat again. Fishing line to remove. Soak with bug and tar remover again. wipe, heat, base of thumb to "roll" the glue on itself. goo gone once it is all off to clean it totally. wipe clean, then use a spray polish or detailer (like meguiars) to clean it up and give it some shine.

Turtle Wax makes a bug and tar remover that worked like a miracle for me.

No heating, no elbow grease, spray it on, gooey stuff gone. It's a foam like gel so it stays on the bumper well which gives you time to let it soak in.

blisters are worth it IMO... the bug & tar remover I used was the Turtle Wax spray, but Ive also used the turtle wax that comes in a can w/ the stupid lid, lol, i honeslty think the spray was better....
