I like debagged, it's kinda cool sometimes cause I'll park somewhere and sometimes people are like what in the world are you driving, looks nice and fast. Most people don't believe it's a Chevy. I'm like haven't you seen the redicoulous amount of comercials GM had on before it came out. Guess everyone forgot about them since it took forever for the cars to finally be delivered.

nope, new on cobalts for 07 its sport red tint coat.... an extra 300 bucks but i would say worth it.
one funny thing i have found is that people either say i should have had the big spoiler or no spoiler, almost no one likes the small spoiler i decided on

At least get rid of the square GM emblems and the HUGE rear gold bowtie. That will really clean it up.
Your spoiler looks fine but i am a little partial to the big wing. The no wing look is just awkard IMHO.

It's all personal preference man.
I agree with Landon that at the very least, you should lose the rear bowtie and square gm badges. And for sure lose any dealer stickers or emblems if you haven't already.
As to wanting to be proud that you have a ss supercharged, I can understand that. So it's really up to you.
About the wing, I have to agree with the people who tell you to go big or go home. I had a low wing on mine, and hated it, so it's gone now. I used to also hate the big spoilers, but they've grown on me. They really distinguish the car out there on the road. I myself am waiting for a carbon fiber trunk, with no wing, because I'm going for a sleeker, keep them guessing look. Really up to you here again. It's all preference

That color looks great, but if you ever need paint work done it is going to cost more just becaue it is a "three stage" paint job. Very hard to match and very expensive to make. I manage a paint and body shop so I just thought you might want the early warning.

damn that color does look nice... and i love the small spoiler i now have too personally i would at least debadge the gm and chevy logo in the back. I love the look of the SS in the front but without they bowtie it looks a little wierd imo. Anyway do what you do and post up more pics because im loving the color

If your going sleeper, then go with a wingless trunk.
Low pro spoiler and High pro spoiler both look good. It's just a matter of taste. Some people like to advertise their tuner car with a big ass wing, some like to keep it on the DL.

thanks guys, i think one of the coolest things about cobalts is how many different looks you can give them. some great ideas so far, any others?
oh and someone told me it was a 3 coat job, thats why i will either keep the low wing or have none because i imagine it would be a pain to get the high wing in that color

I took everything off the back and the GM emblems on the sides ...left the SS and supercharged on the sides....thinking about taking those off too though.
Only thing left would be the front Chevy symbol - may have to paint it black.
And yes, I've had people ask me "What car is that?" too...

the only part I debadged was the trunk but i left all the chevy and gm emblems and I left the ss/sc on the sinde of the car just cause I like the way it looks. I like people knowing it's and SS they still ask me what it is all the time.
