debadging...paint protection?

debadging...paint protection?

hey guys, i got the paint protection from GM before i picked up the car, i wanna take off the back chevy emblem, will i run into any wierd issues cuz of this, any help would be great, thanks.

Not sure what that is but I got the Simoniz System 5 on my car. Exterior/Interior. I removed "cobalt" and the Chevy Bowtie and no problems at all. I made sure i cleaned it up real nice

its like another clear coat, protects against stone chips, sun fade, and some other stuff.

Well not really like another clear coat, but a protective coating at any rate. It's invisible, and no you won't have the ghost outline of your badges when you take them off. Just debadge and wax that area and good to go.
