Decals

My car is COVERED in decals, and I mean COVERED. I bought the car this way, was a good deal so I bought it. I want to take them off, but the car has prob had em all on for about 2 years or so. If I take them off, wont my paint be 2 different color yellows? Im just guessing the sun effected the yellow not covered by decals..

Heres a picture.

it might have. take them off and if it did then just clay bar the car then give it a good buff at a fairly high speed rpm.

Im just worried about it, if I take one square off, and it doesnt match right, the whole side will look weird.

I'd just take off the side decals (the squares) and leave the black racing stripes and continue on with the yellow/black theme.. (black headlight housings, rims, etc.)

The thing is, the stripes are starting to come off a little bit, I need to get them taken off.
The sides are in OK shape, but need to come off as well.
It isnt just me hateing the look. Its the fact they are starting to look bad.

Whats the best way to get the decals off? A card? Or just fingernails.

After you take them off just clay bar them and give them a good wax and polish. You can also try some of Meguiar's color X on it. It bring's the color out.

use your fingernail. if its warm where you live it will be easier. if its kinda cool then maybe you might need a hair dryer to heat em up.
