did the HD lip mod ..
Hey guys, I recently read in one of the threads about the HD lip mod and thought I'd give it a shot. Took me about an hour and a half with a screw driver and since I'm Canadian I had to pay $30 instead of $25 due to taxes . I'm not sure what I think of it right now, might spray to match the darker black on my grills. Also these are cellphone pictures so kinda weirded out and yes I know it's saggin' a little in the middle.

took me a minute to figure out what you did.... and not sure where you got the name HD Lip mod but if I am seeing right you painted what should be the white part where your badge is black to match the grill.
Since it took me a minute, that should tell you it looks good. Definitely go with a couple more coats of flat black to match the grill. I think it looks tight.

Strictly cosmetics. That's pretty much the only reason why everyone else that has one of these put it on. The only reason I'm not slammed is due to warranty reasons; another 20,000kms to go

Yeah, thats the plastic piece tucked underneath and behind the bumper. This is in the front and pretty much makes it look like I have a black lip on my front. I'll get better pictures with an actual camera rather then my cellphone soon.

I used double sided tape to hold it in place as I put screws in for a more permanent fit. Due to the cold the tape in that section has come a little loose, I just need to put another screw there and it'll be all good. I just noticed it as I was posting pictures on my computer. There's 15 screws holding it in place right now.
