Different HID brands - worth the extra money?
Different HID brands - worth the extra money?
www.mobilehid.com - cost $250, free shipping anywhere
www.xenonlink.com - will cost me $175 after shipping
I've read up some stuff on both of these companies, do you guys think it's worth the extra 75$ to go with the MobileHIDs? They look like a nice kit, and you get what you pay for I guess. Only problem I see is that on the MobileHIDS, the harness needs to connect directly to the + and - of the battery.. ours is in the trunk >.> how would I solve that?
Are all the other HID kits like that? Or can you power them off something else.

I have a friend who sells HID kits in any size and color for $160 shipped. just some food for thought. All his stuff is all plug and play and has a 1 year warranty on everything. I have his 5k kit in my SS fog lights and they are bad ass.
Also, his kits use a direct power source for the ballasts instead of through the stock headlight harness. If you open the fuse paned under the hood, you can use the ring terminal from the kit on the + line and bolt it right to that jump starting post. Then use any good clean chassis bolt for the ground.
PM me if you are interested. I'll get you his info.

just dont go with any ultra cheap ****.
you get what you pay for with HID bulbs and ballasts.
Visionbulbs is a vendor here, has free shipping, and even has a shipping point in canada to avoid canadians having to pay import duties.
ive used their parts for over a year, and havent had a single problem.
