even if it does, probably not a bad idea to have another coat or two of clear squirted on it just in case.

i've bought about 6 CF hoods before and the only one that i didn't have to clear coat was the one from Seibon. all the others started to show yellowing after 2 months of sun but it was reversed by sanding it lightly and re-clearing it.

its not actually "clear coat" its the coating that covers the carbon fiber.... its more like a resin based material like what they use for fiberglass but this is a little different for carbon fiber... in order to actualy clear coat it it needs to be scuffed up really well for the clear to stick to it....

some companies claim that it does have UV coating though.

that is a sharp hood, i have a silver car coming, and was thinking of getting that, painting it silver, but leaving the bubble carbon fiber. what do yall think of that idea ???
