Door and Dash Trim Issues

I have seen in a few threads that people have been having problems with the silver paint scratching off the trim work. I have about 3k miles on my car and the paint is coming off in more than one spot. I don't rest my keys or wear a watch or anything that can scratch the paint off. Also it's coming off around the airbag indicator light. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty? Or a fix other than sanding and painting them with something decent? Thanks.

I never had that problem when they were silver, but my brother did with his Cobalt. I recommend getting them professionally painted, they will clear coat them for you and that will at least put some kind of protection on them.

Yes I have Had this problem and GM replaced it under warranty no problem, they also installed some type of gasket to keep the door fabric from pulling out from under the switch bezel.
