So I bought these new lock pins for my doors and the instructions say to turn the stock ones counter clockwise to loosen ,but I turned them and they aren't coming off. Am I just supposed to turn harder or is there an easier way to get them off?

 

They are threaded on, you have to spin em around quite a few times before they come out. Might take a little extra twist to break them loose.
